Faith Statement
David Gonzalez Ministries and Mountain Faith Church are a Spirit-filled, non-denominational television ministry and church, created in 1989. The pastor and founder David Gonzalez, later started Mountain Faith Church on September 7, 1997; and has since created other associated ministries. Our ministries include half-hour Sunday broadcasts on dozens of television stations throughout the Midwest, free worldwide VIMEO and ROKU stations, SPOTIFY online radio ministry, LIVE on-line broadcasting, as well as other outreaches, including the local tourism trade in Wisconsin.
We Believe that there is one God made up of three Persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We Believe that these three Persons are actual Persons with personalities as revealed in scripture.
We Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and was sent to the earth by God the Father. We believe that He was born of a virgin, died, and was resurrected on the third day.
We Believe that the shed blood of Jesus on the cross washes away the sins, for all those who come to Him, and receive Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
We Believe in the power of prayer using the name of Jesus. We also believe that God is alive and hears our prayers and answers our prayers as they come into line with His will.
We Believe that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Therefore, we believe that supernatural healing, the destroying of strongholds, prosperity, and peace of mind, are for today, and are all available from God, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We Believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as a separate event in the life of every believer, as outlined in the book of Acts. We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the fruit of the Spirit, as evidence that a believer is baptized in the Holy Spirit.
We Believe that the human soul and spirit was created at the point of conception and not before, and that man is a created being designed by God, and made in His image. We believe that man’s spirit and soul will live forever, and that man, good or bad, will continue to exist for eternity.
We believe in the Life of the unborn, that it is Gods creation in the womb, that it should be protected, and that all abortion is the taking of a human life and is the shedding of innocent blood.
We Believe that Holy Scripture clearly point to a Rapture of the Church prior to the Seven Year Tribulation, and that at that time, Jesus and other prophecies describe our translation into heaven in our new and glorified bodies.
We Believe that at the end of the Tribulation, that Jesus will return with His saints and land on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem beginning the 1,000 Year Millennial Reign.
We Believe that at the end of the Millennial Reign, that God will set up His White Throne Judgment, to judge the living and the dead, the righteous and the unrighteous. That the Righteous will Join God in Heaven for eternity, and the unrighteous will be thrown in the Lake of Fire forever and forever.
We Believe that the Bible is the inerrant and infallible WORD of GOD.
We Believe that man was designed in the image of God and has the responsibility as His image, to reflect His nature; that is to operate in faith, hope, and love. But most of all love. Since we are made in God’s image, we also believe that we are to do the works that Jesus did, and greater works, since He sat down next to the Father.
We Believe that Christians today should have miracle working power using the name of Jesus, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the shed blood of Jesus, and the Word of God.
We Believe that God wants the very best for His people today and that any problem that a person encounters, God can fix.
We Believe that faith CAN move mountains.
