And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.” Luke 17:26-30 You and I live in a very unique time in history and very few people can see it. The end of this age is upon us. Israel has been a nation for 74 years, and the generation that sees her come back to life, will witness Jesus’ return on the clouds for saints. The calling and warning about Jesus’ soon return, that the Spirit of God has placed upon this ministry, is mighty upon me. “God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. Then God said to Noah, ” The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.” Genesis 6:12-13 There is a book referenced in your Bible twice, called Jasher, or Jashar. Notice these references: Joshua 10:13, “So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar?” 2 Samuel 1:18, “…and he told them to teach the sons of Judah the song of the bow; behold, it is written in the book of Jashar.” The book Jasher was written approximately 3,000 years ago, and has remained uncorrupted since, and so it is used both in seminaries for students to study and by theologians today. It is not the Bible, but the book is a helpful background study tool for many events in the Old Testament. In Jasher 5.6-11 it reads, “And after the lapse of many years, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the life of Noah, when all those men, who followed the Lord had died away from amongst the sons of men, and only Methuselah was then left, God said unto Noah and Methuselah, saying, “Speak ye, and proclaim to the sons of men, saying, Thus saith the Lord, return from your evil ways and forsake your works, and the Lord will repent of the evil that He declared to do to you, so that it shall not come to pass. For thus saith the Lord, ‘Behold I give you a period of one hundred and twenty years; if you will turn to me and forsake your evil ways, then will I also turn away from the evil which I told you, and it shall not exist, saith the Lord.’ And Noah and Methuselah spoke all the words of the Lord to the sons of men, day after day, constantly speaking to them. But the sons of men would not hearken to them, nor incline their ears to their words, and they were stiffnecked. And the Lord granted them a period of one hundred and twenty years, saying, ‘If they will return, then will God repent of the evil, so as not to destroy the earth.’” Noah, and his grandfather Methuselah, preached for 120 years to a very stubborn people. What was the cost of a soul to them? 120 years of their lives! Day after day, preaching the same thing, and there was no change! The number of 120 years is interesting. After the flood, God began to restrict the life of men to 120 years. Moses lived to 120 years of age when God called him home. The queen of Sheba gave Solomon 120 talents of gold, and there was 120 persons waiting in the upper room in Acts 1:15. Are you aware of the Azuza Street Revival in 1906? In the spring of that year, a revival of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit broke out on Azuza street in Los Angeles. There have been many revivals before then and since then, but I find it interesting, that four years from now, in 2026, that it will be 120 years since that revival began. I am certainly not date setting, but it is interesting none-the-less. Not everyone is called to preach repentance, but you and I are all called, to funding the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus the Messiah. I have been praying for revival since I started this ministry. In looking back at 25 years of my sermon notes, I have the word “revival” written frequently in the sidebars. I have yet to see this revival that I have been praying for. Nevertheless, I have not ceased to pray for it, or believe for it. Noah preached revival for 120 years and I have preached it for 25 years. Like Noah, I believe that the cost of just one soul is worth it. I have given my life for this ministry. My question is this to you; What is one soul worth to you? Is it worth 50 cents? Is it worth a dollar? How about $10? And what is your soul worth to you? What is your soul worth, and at what cost did you get saved? I can answer this partly to you. The Gospel has been preached for 2,000 years, many losing their lives for it, many others giving up all their wealth for it, and during that time, some also preaching without any visible effectiveness. All this is allowing you to enjoy your church and denomination, a safe neighborhood and a blessed country! The cost to get the Gospel to you was and is staggering! Without all those preachers, and without all their supporters, America would not exist today! We would be a heathen nation, an unsafe place, a land without hope. The word Gospel in the Greek text literally means, “Good News”! In Romans 10:14-16 we read, “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?’” I have dedicated the rest of my life to this “Good News”. I am asking that you stand with me, not in your time or in your life style, but in your finances. History is now upon all of us; therefore, events are going to speed up and begin to happen rapidly. We are in one of the most prophetic and historic time frames of mankind! Your opportunity to act in supporting me, in the mission of reaching lost souls and growing up the saints, is upon you right now. In fact, for some of you reading this, this may be your only invitation to act. I know that the Spirit of God is speaking to you right now. God told Noah to preach for 120 years. Then, five years before the flood, God told Noah to start building the ark. When the rain began, they begged Noah to open up the ark and let them come aboard, but it was too late. Noah preached for their souls, and today, you can see it all around you, people are without hope, and people are dying without the knowledge of Jesus. Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Please stand with me to win souls for the kingdom. If you have not yet partnered with us, would you please consider helping us at this crucial time? And, to those that have been supporting us these last 25 years, a super big, “THANK YOU!” You are a blessing to me and the kingdom! Also, stand with me for revival to come to this ministry and to this country. I am praying for you daily! Shalom Pastor David Gonzalez |
