OUR 29TH YEAR OF MINISTRY

SEPTEMBER 2026 NEWSLETTER

A 14th century poem written by Geoffrey Chaucer, “All good things must come to an end”, mirrors the age that we are living in.  Few people have any idea of human history, and its changes in governments and empires. Back in the 1700’s, the phrase, “The sun never sets on the British empire” was a truism, since England controlled twenty-five percent of the world’s landmass. Like jolly old England, all good things must come to an end.

The humble beginnings of the USA started with men who wanted religious freedom, the freedom to worship the God of heaven according to the dictates of their heart.  All the European countries had progressed in Christianity, then stopped.  They went as far as they could, until future generations under Catholicism or Protestantism, lost the ideal of true worship.  They exchanged the love and truth of God, for administrations. Doing so, they lost the Spirit of the Word.

The Thirteen Colonies were settled and governed by Christian men with strong Christian ethics.  The Ten Commandments were honored and talked about, and written into state and federal laws.  Not one commandment was missed.  “Thou shall honor the Sabbath day”, the fourth commandment, was written into law.  No buying or selling, no laborious work was allowed, no calling in employees, no stores open.  When people honored the Sabbath day, which is Sunday for Christians, the bible was preached in hearts and minds of sinners and saints, and a Sunday “go-to-meeting” service was a popular norm.

If you have followed me and this ministry for any time, you’d know that I preach and teach on honoring the Sabbath Day regularly.  When I do, I can hear the thoughts, “Here he goes again”. Yet, for the first several hundred years of this country, as early as 1620 at Plymouth Rock, the Sabbath was honored.  When a government makes laws that are compatible with Gods laws, the laws themselves preach to the public high and low.

America was designed to be guided by the laws of God in the hearts of men.  If you do not believe in God, where is your moral compass?  If you break the rules of God knowingly, while professing Christ as Savior, your fallen morality is a sign that your moral compass is also broken.  The laws of our great land are only as good as the people that follow them and the people that enforce them.  Laws without God’s moral code to enforce them, become only antiquated and silly documents.

“For I, Yahweh (the Lord), do not change” Malachi 3:6.

Jesus was asked this question about the end of the age in Matthew 24:3-14,

“As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

“And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you.  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.

“You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.”

“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

The Gospel message is now seen around the world.  In countries with restrictions, there is the underground church. Great signs are appearing everywhere; floods, earthquakes, famines, and droughts. There was a time when no matter what church you attended, you’d hear about sin, judgment and eternity.  No so today. Don’t like the message, well, there’s another guy down the street that won’t hurt my ears.  And, if that isn’t possible, I’ll just have church by myself.  Paul wrote Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:3-4,

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.”

I had a dream some nights back.  Two beings were in front of me, and I heard the instruction “preach”.  As soon as I opened my mouth, the one on the right began crying loudly, “it hurts, it hurts”.  I said it wouldn’t hurt.  I started again, and he responded the same as before, before I could say a word.  I then turned to the one on my left, and began to open my mouth, and he became angered and stopped me before I could start. Two principalities control men and women in America today, the first is telling people that the Gospel will hurt to hear and follow, the second refuses to listen at all.  This is not the America that our forefathers founded.  They loved God, loved church, loved the brethren, loved the Word, and loved having Sunday’s off. 😊

The antichrist spirit is getting ready for the return of Jesus.  We too should be ready for His return.  Pagan worship is in the open for everyone to see, data-centers are looming large with abilities to create complex images in the sky, pastors are calling evil good and good evil, and many hope that we will continue as we are.  If you understand this, you will know that He is right at the door.

If you have followed me, you will know that the next major prophetic event to occur is the Rapture, occurring on the Feast of Trumpets.  Trumpets is a fall feast, this year occurring September 11-13th.  Even the angels know the season of His return.

We cannot literally know the day, but we can know the season of His return.  If all good things come to an end, then this experiment called the USA, that has governed the world in righteousness, will end soon too. Someday, New York City will no longer be the finance capital of the world.  The USA will step off the world stage, and all eyes instead will be on Israel and the Middle East.

I say these things, not to harm you, but as was with the prophet in Jeremiah 20:8-9,

“For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, Violence and destruction! because the word of Yahweh is made a reproach to me, and a derision, all the day.  If I say, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with forbearing, and I can’t contain.” WEB

My mandate is irrevocable. Help me win the lost.

I am praying for you daily. Please pray for me and this ministry daily.

Shalom.

Pastor David Gonzalez
