Jesus in Mark 13:10 gives us a command for those living just before He comes on the clouds for the church,
“The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.”
If you have followed this ministry for a period of time, you know that my heart is new souls and the growing up of the saints. This ministry’s direction and start all began with a series of visions and words spoken to me from God.
In the spring of 1997, the Holy Spirit spoke to me to start a church. Shortly thereafter, the Holy Spirit told me, “Listen to this”, as a prophetess on a Christian network said, “There is a fire breaking out in central Wisconsin”. Our first service in September 1997 was in a hotel room in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Not a big town, but a bustling one, as it is the 5th largest tourist attraction and vacation area in the U.S.A.
A short time later God spoke to me and said to go on television. Again God spoke to me and said, “I want you on the interstate in the Dells”, and 36 acres on the interstate just fell into our lap. He spoke to me again and said something like, “Expand”, so we did. Even though we are in a very rural area of the state and the country, David Gonzalez Ministries and Mountain Faith Church is fulfilling the royal last-days command, preaching to the nations.
Look on the back side of this newsletter, and you can see the areas we now cover, with our half-hour Sunday broadcast. We just added Des Moines, Iowa a short time ago, and now we are in Montana and Wyoming through a high-power station in Billings, Montana. May God get all the glory! It’s the harvest of souls and the growing up of the saints. The growth is all God!
Last month I presented a Spring Improvement Campaign for the ministry and several things got taken care of already! 20 years ago, one of our members said, “It’s good enough for God”. No, God should have the best, and His ministers should be giving the public the best produced messages possible! In Acts 1:8 it reads,
“…and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
Here is what remains of our projects and improvements that I am asking you to help me out on.
- Parking lot upgrades to fix and replace eight 20 year old lights with less expensive LED fixtures. Nearly half has been provided, the remaining budget is $3,800.
- Carpet and flooring upgrades in main area, $5,700.
- LED upgrade for our sanctuary lighting and better colorized programs, $22,000. The majority of the current lighting was installed in 2004. LED’s have better color and are cooler in the summer and cheaper to run.
- LIVE sound mixing control board, used as an upgrade for LIVE viewers. $18,000.
- A live plasma overhead screen for LIVE programs, production slideshows, and movies. $15,000.
